This is not just pizza crime but crime against food in general. I guess she doesn’t eat carbs which in and of itself is fine by me, but then why touch something that’s like 70% bread by weight?? This is such a waste… you can go eat pizza bowls and leave the slices to someone else who will not waste perfectly edible food. There are people starving in Alabama and you do this? Straight to jail you go.

If I was her, I would ask the pizza place if they can just can just take a ladle of sauce, cheese, toppings and bake it in a dish? Might be able to save a little cash lol.
I think Papa Johns or one of the chains was actually selling something like that which I would also classify as a crime, but at least one isn’t wasting dough if they wanted that.

I’m old enough to not care what anyone thinks. I wouldn’t do it in public, but there’s a huge texture difference between the layers, largely because that kind of conveyor belt pizza often has an overcooked bottom. It’s pleasant to eat just toppings, then peel the soft layer and roll it up.
Textures matter in food, especially in mass market level food.
